明道中學的世界公民素養班同學於3月10日參加由台中美國資料中心在台中舉辦的 "美國風情畫" 演講.   美國在台協會領事組官員 Mr. Gilbert Morton介紹從 Norman Rockwell 到 Winslow Homer  的藝術作品, 也包括較鮮為人知的藝術家如 Alexander Gardner 和 Joseph Stella.  Mr. Gilbert Morton 並和同學們討論"美國風情畫"中有關美國歷史, 藝術, 及建築風格等主題的作品 .

Members of Ming Dao High School's Global Leadership Program attended the "Picturing America" presentation at the American corner in Taichung on March 10. The lecture featured works of art from Norman Rockwell and Winslow Homer, as well as lesser known artists such as Alexander Gardner and Joseph Stella. AIT Consular Officer Mr. Gilbert Morton led the discussion and touched upon themes related to American history, art and architecture.
