美國在台協會經濟官趙富年於2010年11月30日, 以美國教育及文化為題, 對國立大里高中150位學生作專題演講.   趙先生所針對的主題, 包括多樣化, 運動, 美國生活的宗教, 及台灣和美國高中之間的相似及差異之處.   之後,  趙先生回答學生們的各式問題, 包括台灣的經濟及政治情形, 美國憲法, 及美國和台灣教育系統的不同.    演說結束時, 趙先生簡短地介紹他的外交官生涯 及回答相關問題.

AIT Taichung Virtual Branch Officer Geoffrey Siebengartner Addresses Students at Taichung Dali Senior High School

On November 30, AIT Economic Officer Geoffrey Siebengartner spoke with 150 students at National Dali High School on the topics of U.S. education and American culture.   Mr. Siebengartner highlighted such themes as diversity, sports, religion in American life, and the similarities and differences between high school in Taiwan and the United States.  Afterwards, Mr. Siebengartner answered questions from the students on a variety of topics including Taiwan's economic and political situation, the U.S. Constitution, and the differences between U.S. and Taiwan education systems.  At the end of the talk, Mr. Siebengartner spoke briefly and answered questions about his Foreign Service career.
